Why Tree-Shirt:

• Pine fiber is a sustainable fiber utilization of which reduces reliance on environmentally polluting resources, such as cotton. Feeding European demand for natural fibers, as interest in natural fibers is increasing due to new environmental legislation and concerns, resulting in a growing market for biodegradable and recyclable materials.

• Harvesting pine needles contribute to forest maintenance and greenhouse reduction by the removal of composting green biomass.

• The utilization of forest slush decreases the chance of forest wildfire spread as slash is an excellent medium for forest fires to spread, because of the climate change forest fires becoming a common threat, particularly around the Mediterranean.
